Bureau Manager - Tesco Bedworth | Part Time | 30 hours per week | Permanent

As an integral part of Tesco Travel Money, you will be placed on-site in one of our bustling bureaus situated within a Tesco retail store. Thousands of customers will visit daily, seeking guidance on foreign exchange. We aspire to be the preferred provider of foreign exchange and to deliver detailed, concise advice with an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Travel Service Partners, ensuring each member delivers the best possible customer experience to every customer who transacts with Tesco Travel Money.
  • Nurture and mentor the team to maintain high levels of customer service and enable Travel Service Partners to perform to the best of their ability with the best training available.
  • Focus on and review customer feedback and service levels, enabling the team to implement processes and solutions that improve outputs and achieve objectives.
  • Engage with customers to process all foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver on key performance goals—procedural, operational and customer-focused.
  • Utilise attention to detail to process daily online FX requests and deliveries.
  • Implement and drive best legal practice and regulatory standards while adhering to Travelexpliance procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Interview process

  1. Step 1 — Talent Acquisition Partners or Area Managers review your application and contact you for an initial screening call.
  2. Step 2 — Online interview with a Talent Acquisition Partner, with a brief numerical/accuracy test related to handling money.
  3. Step 3 — Bureau visit to meet the Area Manager, see the working environment, and discuss day-to-day responsibilities.
  4. Step 4 — If successful, an offer to join Travelex; if unsuccessful, you will receive detailed feedback. Onboarding includes a reference check in line with company standards.
