Bond and Specialty Insurance provides Financial Lines insurance for Small, Medium and Large sized businesses through our Broker networks. In the Insurance Professional Development Program, you will build Insurance skillsets through a blend of mentorship, professional qualifications through an apprenticeship, and on-the-job training. You will work with a collaborative team of underwriters that will provide you with the opportunity to build a unique and successful career within a highly competitive area of the insurance industry.\n \n Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.\n Utilise appropriate systems to accurately enter quotes, risks and endorsements, so as to ensure correct management, statistical and regulatory reporting. \n Ensure timely entry of risks into the relevant systems via Shared Services \n Review aggregation data, respond to queries and ensure it is accurately entered into the systems where required. \n Obtain required information for local policies, liaising with the local team and underwriters. \n Assist with pricing and classifying risks in accordance with the Underwriting Guidelines and rating considerations. \n Liaison with the Risk Control, Claims, Marketing, Distribution, Financial and Actuarial departments as required. \n Assist Operations or Credit Control with resolving queries on overdue premium, tax queries or aged debt. \n Conduct research for Senior Underwriters as directed e.g. review of trade press, financial/credit scoring information etc. \n Work effectively with colleagues at all levels within Underwriting and across the business support functions such as Operations, Actuarial and Finance. \n Inclusion: and views those differences as assets to be leveraged to accomplish business goals and objectives. \n \n Private Medical Insuran ce: On commencement of employment, you are eligible for single cover provided by Travelers, with the option to add cover for your dependents, at your expense through payroll deduction. \n Retirement: Travelers will make a core contribution of a percentage of salary to your Pension Plan. n Holiday Entitlement: Start your career at Travelers with a minimum of 25 days holiday entitlement annually, plus the opportunity to purchase additional days to allow for up to a total of 35 holidays per year. \n Wellness Programme: The Travelers wellness programme is comprised of tools, discounts and resources that empower you to achieve your wellness goals and caregiving needs.
