Job Category Project Management, Technology Target Openings 1 What Is the Opportunity? Travelers Europe is looking for a Project Manager, ideally with experience of working within the insurance market, to join our team in London. You will be responsible for managing and implementing your assigned project(s) and workstreams within the European operation. This includes managing project plans, backlogs, milestones, risks, and issues, and ensuring a standardized approach across projects. You will also coach and mentor others outside the PMO in project management and Lean techniques, liaising with work stream leaders, stakeholders, analysts, and IT staff to meet goals and milestones. This role offers flexibility for hybrid work in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy, typically three days in the office and two days remote. This policy may be updated at the company\’s discretion. Additionally, this role is eligible for a £2,500 new joiner referral bonus, subject to conditions. What Will You Do? Manage, oversee, and execute assigned projects using appropriate methodologies. Mentor non-PMO project managers and support their development. Provide thought leadership to model project management excellence in Europe. Operate within the Travelers methodology and PMO standards to achieve project goals. Maintain up-to-date project documentation and analytics. Manage dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively. Manage project resources and provide clear direction. Build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders. Act ethically and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? Experience in the insurance market. Certification in Project Management (e.g., Prince2, PMP). Experience as a Scrum Master and knowledge of Kanban. Proven track record managing multiple work-streams and projects, including change management. Strong skills in developing Business Cases, negotiation, communication, mentoring, and risk management. Must Have Skills Proven project management experience in Business and IT projects. Knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and methodologies (agile, iterative, waterfall).
