What Is the Opportunity? We are recruiting for a Paralegal to join our team based in London on a temporary contract until approximately July 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of litigation and case management work in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will support Counsel across all stages of case handling and litigation preparation, giving you real exposure to complex legal matters. You will conduct legal research ranging from routine to moderately complex, translating findings into clear, actionable summaries, whilst leading investigative fact-gathering exercises and analysing information to support case strategy. Alongside this, you will manage information logs, handle enquiries efficiently and collaborate with external service providers, building valuable professional relationships across the industry.

We are looking for a paralegal with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will have strong research and analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly, and you'll be comfortable working alongside senior legal professionals in a collaborative environment. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.

Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.

What Will You Do?

  • Conduct legal research of low to medium complexity on specific issues for litigation matters by locating, gathering, compiling and organising data.
  • Analyse statutes, cases and regulations and summarise findings.
  • Interpret, draw conclusions from and categorize data in order to provide written summaries and memoranda to Counsel.
  • Participate in the development of low to medium complexity disclosure strategy and help prepare responses to disclosure requests, provide recommendations based upon knowledge of the facts of the case, and organise data and information.
  • Organise facts and documentation and prepare responses for Counsel.
  • Meet and work with various internal sources, outside Counsel and others as directed to locate and discuss documents, issues, cases, etc.
  • Prepare exhibits, trial bundles and other demonstrative evidence for use at trial.
  • Conduct disclosure.
  • Work on special projects and/or assignments as requested.
  • Act as a customer service contact in order to give, receive or exchange information.
  • File and serve documents at court, as required and make telephone enquiries.
  • Prepare court documents under supervision, as required.
  • Assist with file opening and billing.
  • Strictly adhere to the principles, outcomes and indicative behaviours of the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA) Code of Conduct.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What is a Must Have? Qualifying Law degree in England and Wales (LLB) or Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL).
