Travelers Europe is looking for a Senior Delegated Authority Analyst to join our DASS team based in London. Reporting to the Head of Delegated Authority Support Services (DASS), you will operate and oversee the Delegated Underwriting Authority controls within Travelers Europe, ensuring the Delegated Authority Framework remains up to date and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and implementation of the delegated underwriting governance processes.
  • Execute and oversee the delegated underwriting due diligence and third-party audit framework.
  • Support underwriters in setting up new and renewal delegated authority arrangements, coordinating with key stakeholders throughout the business.
  • Engage in broker and coverholder meetings in support of Underwriters, where required.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within Delegated Authority Support Services (DASS).
  • Provide expert advisory and guidance to the business in relation to all Delegated Authority matters.
  • Work with delegated operations team members to ensure adequate pre-bind data due diligence is completed.
  • Schedule, monitor, review third-party coverholder audits and ensure audit recommendations are tracked to completion.
  • Provide new ideas for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide input into the quarterly Delegated Authority Panel meetings.
  • Keep up to date with Lloyd’s and London Market initiatives in relation to Delegated Authority business.
  • Apply expert knowledge to help design risk-based processes, ensuring compliance with the latest regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure records are kept up to date.
  • Act as a central point of contact for the Lloyd’s Coverholder Department.
  • Attend Lloyd’s and market meetings.
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Provide advice and guidance to Underwriters, Compliance and other stakeholders on current Delegated Underwriting Requirements.
  • Participate in wider projects and duties in relation to DUA business.
