You’ll join a diverse, experienced team with strong expertise in catastrophe risk and enjoy excellent opportunities to learn, grow, and progress your career. You’ll be excited by understanding complex processes and modernising them using contemporary techniques and tooling (knowledge of Python, KNIME, Databricks, or equivalent is an advantage), ultimately turning highly complex catastrophe data into actionable insights. This position is ideal for someone with an aggregation data entry background looking to move into CAT Risk and learn modern data analysis techniques, or for a STEM graduate eager to gain hands‑on data experience and learn the ropes. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Support the Pre U/W CAT modelling process.
  • Support the refresh of basic analytical processes and exposure management monitoring.
  • Provide training on aggregate data entry and ensure that standard operating procedures are maintained for in‑house tasks as well as outsourced data processing.
  • Support the data processing on more complex cases that cannot be completed by the operations department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • General knowledge of working with aggregations data.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite, SQL, geospatial, statistical packages or other programs used to retrieve and analyze data.
  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to pay attention to detail and effectively convey information to peers.
  • Ability to follow through on tasks/projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What Is a Must Have?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Business, or a related field.
