An award-winning tour operator offering unique group tours, tailored travel, and cultural experiences is seeking a passionate Travel Consultant to specialise in Japan. You will offer unrivalled customer experience, whatever the customer budget or personal interests, creating holidays that give people the chance to experience both the popular and little-known aspects of Japanese culture. This is a hybrid role in Bristol, offering a competitive basic, great commission scheme and extensive benefits (see The Package below) The ideal candidate will have spent extensive time in Japan and keen to use their extensive destination knowledge to create bespoke Itineraries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consult with customers to understand their individual holiday requirements.
  • Create high-quality, tailor-made Japan itineraries based around each customer's needs.
  • Manage the full booking process, ensuring every detail is delivered accurately and efficiently.
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service throughout.
  • Work towards individual and team sales targets.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple bookings and enquiries effectively.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous customer service and/or sales experience.
  • Experience of living and/or working in Japan is essential, together with a genuine passion for the destination.
  • Excellent knowledge of Japan as a travel destination.
  • Highly organised, productive and able to work accurately under pressure.
  • Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven and determined to achieve sales targets.

PACKAGE:

  • Uncapped commission - expected OTE of Β£5,000 in year one, rising to Β£16,000 from year three.
  • 25 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year to a maximum of 28 days.
