Are you experienced in multi-channel marketing and proven background in developing / delivering strategic communications within the Travel & Tourism Industry?

We are working with a reputable London based Travel company, who are looking for a Senior PR and Marketing Executive to join their team!

As a PR and Communications Executive within this company, you will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic communications that engage their internal teams, support their independent travel advisors, and promote the brand in the UK market and beyond.

This role combines internal communications, PR, and external brand messaging, requiring a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage media relations efforts across national and local print, radio, TV, digital, and trade media.
  • Effectively position the companies brands in the media as required.
  • Create, write, and disseminate press releases for the various brands underneath this companies umbrella.
  • Identify and pursue PR opportunities to enhance the visibility of the company and its family of brands.
  • Develop key stories and pitch to relevant media titles to enhance brand visibility.
  • Provide counsel and strategic PR advice to executives and independent travel advisors.
  • Draft and submit awards nominations for the company, and assist independent travel advisors when required.
  • Responsible for the management of all UK brand social media channels, including content planning, posting, audience engagement, issue escalation, and performance reporting.

The person

  • Experience in a multi-channel marketing environment
  • Travel marketing experience would be a huge bonus, though not essential
  • Bachelor's degree in PR, communications, or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • A 'can do', positive, enthusiastic attitude with a friendly, approachable manner is essential
  • Good team working skills and the ability to be flexible
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with internal and external clients
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy

The package

  • A basic salary of circa £40,000 (depending on experience)
  • Hybrid working - Central London office location
