An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a specialist tour operator in Essex. As a Sales Team Leader, you will be working within a call centre environment responsible for leading, developing and coaching a team of 10 - 15 Travel Sales Consultants with the aim of improving their performance, profitability and conversion.
This role will involve day-to-day management, and you will demonstrate a hands-on approach and a 'lead from the front' attitude, inspiring others to deliver the end-to-end results. JOB DESCRIPTION:- Lead by example through personal sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service and strong conversion results
- Act as a point of support for complex bookings and customer queries
- Support and encourage the team to sell added-value products and upgrades to enhance customer experience and overall revenue
- Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular coaching, feedback, and development support
- Ensure accurate input of bookings into the in-house system and partner booking platforms
- Report to the call centre manager on a daily basis all sales-related activity
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a travel agency sales environment
- Previous experience in a team leader or mentoring role is advantageous
- Strong and confident telephone manner with excellent communication skills
- Starting salary of Β£25,000 + uncapped commission (Β£65,000 OTE)
