We are excited to be working with this well-established and reputable Luxury Tour Operator who is seeking a Sales Support Executive to join their team, due to growth of the business.

As a Sales Support Executive you will be dealing with post booking enquiries, ensuring the smooth running of booking from start to finish and assisting with any booking issues.

This is a great move for someone who is already working for a Tour Operator with previous experience in a similar sales support, operations or back-office role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Ensuring the smooth running of booking from start to finish to eliminate errors.
  • Liaising with Travel Agents/clients and assisting with any booking issues.
  • Monitoring GDS queues and removing dummy bookings.
  • Ensuring travel documents are updated and dispatched on time.
  • Assisting sales team with operational problems such as BA strikes and foreign office advice.
  • Processing agent vouchers.
  • Gathering any missing client information, client contact, dob, frequent flyer etc.
  • Advising Travel Agent with flight schedule changes.
  • Checking funds have been received in order to ticket flights.
  • Offering Concierge services to clients including pre-booking spa treatments, dinner. reservations and children\'s clubs, airport lounges etc.
  • Handling special request from VIP clients such as bottles of wine request and welcome letters.
  • Booking transfers, EK/UL chauffeur, restaurants and excursions.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Current experience within the travel industry is essential
  • Experience working within operations for a Tour Operator
  • Experience using a GDS is essential (preferably Galileo but happy to cross train)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines

THE PACKAGE & HOURS:

  • £25,000 - £30,000 (Depending on experience)
  • Fully homeworking (occasional travel to the London office for training and meetings)
  • Monday - Thursday: 09-17:30 & Friday: 09- 17:00
