Do you have experience of tailor‑making holidays to India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka? We are excited to be working with an award‑winning luxury tour operator who are looking for an Indian Subcontinent Specialist to join their growing sales team.
Job Duties:
- You will be required to make travel bookings and have a good understanding of the Indian Subcontinent Product, including India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan.
- Designing high quality, tailor‑made itineraries for a wide range of travellers.
- Converting warm sales leads via email, telephone and video calls.
- As a Travel expert you will be responsible for the full sales process including planning, costing, refining and confirming itineraries; through to post‑travel communications.
- You will be required to present high quality travel itineraries that are specifically customised to the client's unique requirements.
- Delivery of exceptional client service at all stages of the sales process.
Experience required:
- First‑hand knowledge of the Indian Subcontinent with extensive independent travel within this region (India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan).
- Experience in working in tour operations or tailor‑made travel.
- Experience working with Indian Subcontinent itineraries.
- Be able to work within a target‑driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
