Marketing Manager needed for this well-established Tour Operator. This role leads the end-to-end marketing function, shaping the strategic direction of the brand while driving measurable commercial growth. It combines strategic ownership, digital expertise, and brand leadership ensuring all marketing activity aligns with business goals and delivers strong ROI. You will oversee integrated multi-channel campaigns, strengthen market positioning, and enhance customer acquisition and retention through data-driven decision-making. The role manages key partnerships, PR activity, digital performance, and the marketing budget, ensuring activity is insight-led, optimised, and commercially effective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Ownership: Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies aligned to company and commercial goals. Collaborate with Sales and Product to influence pricing, forecasting, and wider commercial strategy. Proactively champion innovative marketing-led initiatives to generate revenue streams and maximise growth. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient spend and clear ROI. Present performance insights to the SMT to support strategic planning and continuous improvement. Define digital priorities, KPIs and success measures to ensure campaigns deliver measurable commercial impact.
  • Multi-Channel Campaign Management: Plan, execute and optimise fully integrated digital campaigns across PPC, SEO, email, social media, display and partnerships. Oversee publication of digital content and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels. Collaborate with external digital agencies to deliver high-performing campaigns.
  • Search, Paid Media & Website Performance: Manage and optimise paid media activity, including PPC and display advertising, ensuring strong ROI. Oversee SEO performance, including content optimisation and technical enhancements to drive organic search growth. Ensure the website is optimised for UX, mobile and conversion, working with developers and designers where needed.
  • Content, Social & CRM: Oversee and develop content for web, blog and social media to support storytelling, engagement and SEO. Manage email marketing and CRM campaigns, including segmentation and personalisation. Support brand visibility through social media, organic content and digital partnerships.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, CRM reporting). Use data insights to continually optimise campaigns, improve ROI and influence wider commercial strategy. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities early, adapting activity to maximise ROI. Ensure all marketing activity is continually tested, refined, and improved based on evidence and commercial outcomes.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and support a small team, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities. Set clear objectives and create an environment where creativity, innovation, and commercial thinking thrive. Champion a positive, inclusive team culture that encourages continuous learning and improvement. Foster strong collaboration with other departments to ensure cohesive, insight-driven activity.

Requirements

  • Strong digital marketing skills.
  • Proven experience in a marketing management role within the travel industry.
  • Hands-on marketing experience across digital and offline channels, with a focus on performance and ROI.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in representing the business externally.
  • Experience leading and developing small teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make commercially sound decisions.
  • Experience or a strong understanding of the Latin American tourism sector is ideal but not necessary.

The Details

The annual salary bracket for this role is £40,000 to £50,000 dependant on experience. Hybrid in South West London. This enables the team to be together for collaboration and support; there is a bright and vibrant atmosphere in our office and the team regularly socialise both at company events and informally. For the other days you are welcome to choose whether you work from the office or at home, currently the majority of the team choose to work from home on those days. The hours are 38.75 per week, predominantly Monday-Friday. Shifts during the week will be 9am - 5:30pm, with 45 minutes for lunch.
