My client is an award winning specialist tour operator based in Gloucestershire, and they are looking for a Canada Destination Manager who has specialist destination and product knowledge as well as at least 2 years' sales experience selling trips to Canada. This role is hybrid to start then homeworking with an excellent salary package of up to £33k pa plus uncapped commission. Monday to Friday office hours, so no weekends and great company benefits. A fantastic role for someone with excellent Canada knowledge and sales experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Handling sales enquiries from the initial lead, right through until the client returns.
- Designing holidays that will involve researching a variety of options, booking flights, communicating with several suppliers and presenting this to the client through our in-house software.
- Overseeing the product development for your country collectively with colleagues, ensuring that updates are completed.
- Working with the web/marketing team to test improvements and make tweaks to the website in order to drive more quality enquiries to your desk.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A drive to succeed in sales, and an infectious passion for the country you would be selling.
- A team player, able to communicate with colleagues multiple times a day.
- Experience in the travel industry and extensive travel to Canada.
- Previous sales experience with an emphasis on the sales element.
- A self-starter who proposes solutions, not just points out problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stay driven and motivated whether working from the office or from home.
THE PACKAGE:
- £28-33K basic salary depending on experience and the ability to earn commission, OTE up to £50k.
- Hybrid while on probation then fully homeworking.
- The chance to work with an intimate team in a very friendly environment.
- Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm. No Weekends or late nights!
