This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong background in escorted tours and private group travel, with a proven track record of developing and managing bespoke travel programmes.
The Role:- Work closely with the Head of Product to plan and manage the product pipeline, ensuring the appropriate balance between packages developed by us and those sourced through third-party partnerships.
- Develop and maintain product pipelines and schedules from concept through to launch, including the pricing and commercial viability.
- Ensure the ongoing delivery of an engaging, competitive, and diverse product portfolio that aligns with the needs of our partners and expert audiences, while supporting the achievement of business sales targets.
- Build, maintain and strengthen supplier relationships including negotiating the best rates and arrangements for our customers.
- Secure and manage product allocations, monitor availability, and source suitable alternatives when required.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to deliver products in line with agreed deadlines and provide timely responses to sales and marketing-related queries.
- Identify, engage and contract expert talent for relevant packages, ensuring all supplier and expert agreements are fully executed and according to company's standards.
- Monitor performance of our in-house product and manage yield, profitability and pricing with support from the Head of Product.
- Maintain high operational standards by reviewing customer feedback, analysing trends, and implementing improvements to enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure all product content is accurate, up to date and aligned with brand and commercial requirements.
- Effectively manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, fostering collaboration and ensuring successful product delivery.
- Other duties as required; flexibility is imperative in our small, fast-growing business.
- Minimum of 2 years product development and contracting experience within a tour operator, cruise operator, or similar travel business, ideally in escorted touring OR a minimum of three years' experience in a 'front line' sales role that included working directly with DMCs and suppliers on the creation of itineraries.
- Proven experience developing travel products for specific demographics, affinity groups, or special-interest audiences.
- Operational experience within the travel industry.
- Strong commercial thinking with the ability to identify and capitalise on revenue-generating product opportunities.
- A quick-thinking, creative problem solver who continually seeks efficiencies and process improvements.
- Exceptional organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

- Salary £30,000 - £39,000 (Pro rata).
- This role is a part-time (maximum of 32hrs a week), mostly remote role with the requirement of one office day a month (London and/or Woking, Surrey) and ideally working 5 days a week between the core hours of 10am to 3pm. Candidates will need to be based in the UK.
