My client are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Content Executive to join a growing, award-winning travel business in the UK and Ireland tourism sector. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a small, ambitious team where your ideas and contributions will have real impact. You'll be involved in shaping how the brand communicates with its audience—creating compelling content, managing campaigns, and helping deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The business specialises in tailor-made, experience-led holidays across the UK and Ireland, with a strong focus on quality, authenticity, and outstanding service. Customers are typically well-travelled and expect high standards—something the team consistently delivers. Travel industry experience isn't essential. What matters most is your passion for content, strong communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and creating content for social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Planning and delivering email marketing campaigns, including automated customer journeys
  • Updating and maintaining website content using a CMS (WordPress)
  • Coordinating with external agencies (digital advertising, web support, branding)
  • Monitoring and reporting on marketing performance, working alongside internal analysts

Additional involvement:

  • Supporting PR activity, including press releases and journalist relationships
  • Assisting with events and promotional activity
  • Helping manage the marketing budget and invoices
  • Collaborating with sales teams to identify trends and customer insights
  • Contributing to marketing strategy and new product launches

Experience required

Essential:

  • 1-2 years' hands-on marketing experience
  • Strong content creation and social media management skills
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems
  • Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience managing website content (WordPress or similar CMS)
