We are working with an Independent Kent based Corporate Travel company, who are looking for an experienced Ticketing Executive to join the team. They are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Ticketing Agent to join their corporate travel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of air travel ticketing and reservations for business clients, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with corporate travel policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Book domestic and international airline tickets for business travellers using GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
- Handle itinerary planning, changes, cancellations, and re-issues while ensuring minimal costs and penalties.
- Provide expert guidance on travel regulations, entry requirements, and fare rules.
- Process ticket exchanges, refunds, and voids in accordance with airline policies and deadlines.
- Ensure all reservations comply with the client's corporate travel policy.
- Deliver prompt and courteous customer service through phone, email, and chat.
- Maintain accurate records of all bookings and transactions.
- Collaborate with internal departments and travel managers to meet travel needs.
- Stay updated on airline policy changes, industry regulations, and travel technology tools.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate or business travel booking.
- Proficiency in at least one major Global Distribution System (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Strong knowledge of international and domestic fare construction and airline rules.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
- Knowledge of visa, passport, and travel documentation requirements.
- Certification in travel or tourism is a plus (e.g., IATA, ASTA).
