An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent travel agency in Essex. My client is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant with previous travel sales experience. This role will ideally suit someone with a proven Travel Agency background, excellent customer service and a passion for travel. If you are looking for the flexibility to work full time or part time (days negotiable), I would love to hear from you!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Working in a branch, with a small team of travel consultants
  • Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
  • Selling luxury, tailormade, cruise, ski and beach holidays
  • Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs
  • Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance
  • Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone
  • Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of 1 years relevant experience in a travel agency environment
  • Passionate about travel and customer service
  • Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude

PACKAGE:

  • A competitive basic salary + commission
  • 5 days on a rota between Monday - Saturday; 9am - 5:30pm (3 Saturdays per month with 1 full weekend off)
  • Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays
  • Full time or Part time (Days Negotiable)
