Senior Travel Consultant in Birmingham

Job Overview

Trusted luxury boutique Travel Agency is seeking an experienced Travel Advisor to join their established, friendly team of Travel Agents, south‑east of Birmingham city centre.

We offer a salary of £26k-£30k per annum, dependent on experience, and a 5‑day rota Mon‑Sat (4 days may be considered).

Responsibilities

• Work face‑to‑face and over the phone taking enquiries from customers.
• Quote holidays and convert these to bookings.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product and brand knowledge and in‑depth knowledge of the company’s brochures and destinations.
• Handle dynamic packaging and tailor‑made itineraries along with package holidays.
• Provide excellent customer service, dealing with complaints calmly and diplomatically.

Hiring Requirements

• Previous current or recent experience of working in a travel agency for at least 12 months (for top‑end salary more experience required).
• Right to work in the UK.

Working Hours

Mon‑Fri 9 am‑5:30 pm and Sat 9 am‑5 pm on a rota.

Package

This role comes with a basic salary of up to £30k pa, dependent on experience. Additional benefits include education, discounts on your own holidays and tour operator incentives.
