Are you an organised Senior Operations Executive from a Tour Operations background? We\’re recruiting a Senior Operations Consultant for a sports specialist Tour Operator, to oversee the planning and delivery of overseas group tours, as well as accompany these tours. If you have previously worked within group travel, sports travel or Tour Operations in an operational role, this could be your next career move! Job Description:
- Design and develop tour packages for international sports tours.
- Source and negotiate with hotels, ground transportation providers, airlines and DMCs to provide high standard tours at the best possible prices.
- Work with the Head of Operations and Finance Team to develop budgets and costings, providing forecasted P&L for all tours.
- Coordinate the loading of tours onto our booking system and website, including creating detailed sales itineraries.
- Brief the organisation prior to tours going on sale, ensuring all team members have detailed product briefs.
- Manage end-to-end logistics of tours: flights, hotels, ground transport, excursions, and tickets.
- Maintain control of stock and provide financial risk records for stakeholders and suppliers.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners, DMCs, and ticketing organisations.
- Ensure all H&S requirements are met before and during tours.
- Produce pre-departure information and conduct pre-tour briefings.
- Travel to destinations for on-ground delivery, ensuring smooth operations and addressing issues proactively.
- Track tour progress and implement improvements as needed.
- Work with teams to ensure a high-energy fan journey from booking to return.
- Monitor performance metrics and resolve complaints.
- Gather feedback and refine future tours.
- Produce post-tour reports including P&Ls and supplier reviews.
Experience Required:
Previous experience in travel operations, ideally with a Tour Operator specialising in group and/or sport travel. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach are essential.
