We're looking for someone ready to be the driving force on the ground, supervising all ground handling and passenger service operations delivered by the airport and handling agents. You'll ensure everything runs safely, smoothly, and in line with company procedures and policies.
Part time hours: 5 hours per day
- Morning shift: starts at 06:30
- Afternoon shift: starts at 17:30
Candidates will need to remain on duty until the aircraft is airborne, in case of any technical issues or flight cancellations.
- Friday: early start at 04:00 (only once a week)
- Saturday: day off, as we do not operate on that day.
Essential Requirements
- Full knowledge of the Amadeus system
- Airport experience
- Full Driving Licence
The purpose of the role is to supervise all ground handling and passenger service operations delivered by the airport and handling agents in accordance with company and Ground Operations procedures and policies. Previous aviation knowledge and experience is an advantage; however, this role is ideal for a candidate who is flexible, professional, and looking to start a career in ground operations. A positive, service-oriented approach and strong problem-solving ability are essential to succeed in this diverse and exciting role. A full driving licence is mandatory.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Ensure the highest standard of passenger service is maintained at all times.
- Resolve complex issues promptly and professionally.
- Handle incapacitated and reduced-mobility passengers with exceptional sensitivity.
OPERATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS
- Ensure full cooperation with the Operational Control Centre.
- Verify and countersign all load sheets before presenting them to the Captain.
- Provide handling agents with all necessary instructions and information to guarantee proper handling of flights in line with company procedures.
RAMP ACTIVITIES
- Maintain full familiarity with loading procedures for all aircraft, including cargo.
- Aircraft weight and balance licence is an advantage.
- Ensure sufficient staff availability and performance standards for interior aircraft cleaning teams.
- Administrative and ad-hoc duties are also included.
