Do you have experience working in the travel industry using a GDS system? Would you like to step into the world of Business Travel and enjoy the prospect of getting your weekends back? My client, a global travel company are looking to expand their Business Travel team and offering full training and support to Junior Business Travel Consultants. As a Business Travel Consultant, you will manage and support a diverse portfolio of VIP clients, delivering exceptional, personalised corporate travel. If you have a passion for the travel industry and looking for fully remote / hybrid working, we would love to hear from you! DUTIES: Providing a high level of service to all travellers & travel bookers Handle travel queries, amendments, and cancellations with efficiency and care Demonstrate an excellent understanding of account processes and policies Providing an end-to-end solution for all clients, in-line with our clients travel policy. Advise proactively on relevant Passport and Visa requirements and procedures for all destinations Maximising opportunities to enhance traveller experiences Monitor all bookings for fare/rate saving opportunities up until completion of the trip EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience as a Business Travel Consultant Working knowledge of a GDS reservations system is essential Fares knowledge of both nett and published airfares preferable PACKAGE: A competitive starting salary of £26,000 - £28,000 Excellent company benefits, company training and development scheme. Fully homebased role 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Pension Travel discounts WORKING HOURS Working hours will operate Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 6pm alongside the office hours.
