We are working with a leading Travel Manager Company based in London who are looking for a Group Business Travel Manager to join their Travel & Events division, due to the successful growth of the business.

This is a varied role, as a Group Business Travel Manager you will be a key account Manager and main point of contact for US Clients, managing global travel logistics for groups of 10 - 1,000+ passengers.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record in booking group travel logistics and flexible to work shifts Monday - Friday between 15:00 - 23:30.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist travellers with best-in-class personalised travel
  • Assisting travellers with any issues before, during, and after travel.
  • Assisting with basic cancellations, changes, and updates to hotel, flight, car, and/or rail bookings.
  • Provide accurate and detailed fare information for hotel, flight, car, and rail bookings, as needed.
  • Work closely with client contacts to understand and meet program objectives/outcomes.
  • Create group and individual reservations
  • Negotiate competitive fares with suppliers
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Proven experience in the travel industry
  • Experience booking and ticketing group travel
  • GDS experience is essential
  • Excellent fare and ticketing knowledge including Published, Net, Group, and Consolidator fares
  • Cvent and/or understanding of event registration tools advantageous
  • Experience working in a high-pressured environment
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent geographical and airline schedule knowledge
  • The ability to work on multiple events at the same time
PACKAGE:
  • £39,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
  • Working shifts Monday - Friday between; 15:00 - 23:30
  • Fully remote
  • Annual company bonus (subject to company performance)
  • 25 Days holiday per year plus your birthday off (plus UK BH)
  • Private medical insurance
