Group Business Travel Consultant

We are working with a leading Travel Management Company based in London who are looking for a Group Business Travel Consultant to join their Travel & Events division, due to the successful growth of the business.\\n\\nThis is a varied role and as a Group Business Travel Consultant you will support the Events and Business Travel Departments, managing UK and global travel logistics for groups of 10 – 1,000+ passengers, negotiating competitive rates with airline and hotel providers and controlling budgets.\\n\\nThe successful candidate must have a proven track record in booking group travel logistics and excellent fares knowledge.\\n\\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\\n\\nWorking on a range of event travel projects for groups\\nCreate group and individual reservations\\nNegotiate competitive fares with suppliers\\nSeek cost effective solutions in line with client objectives\\nMaintain client focus all times and demonstrate excellent service levels\\nUnderstand client accounts\\nAchieve pre agreed objectives and KPI's.\\nSupport the Team Lead(s) and Head of Event Travel on tasks and projects \\n\\nQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:\\n\\nExperience booking and ticketing group travel\\nGDS experience is essential\\nExcellent fare and ticketing knowledge including Published, Net, Group, and Consolidator fares\\nCvent and/or understanding of event registration tools advantageous\\nExperience working in a high-pressured environment\\nStrong negotiation skills\\nExcellent geographical and airline schedule knowledge\\nThe ability to work on multiple events at the same time \\n\\nPACKAGE:\\n\\n£38,000 – depending on experience\\nWorking shifts Monday – Friday between; (Apply online only) / (Apply online only) or (Apply online only)\\nHybrid / London\\nAnnual company bonus (subject to company performance)\\n25 Days holiday per year plus your birthday off (plus UK BH)\\nPrivate medical insurance \\n\\nINTERESTED?\\n\\nTo apply for this position, Click 'apply' to submit your CV\\n\\nThis role is being managed by (url removed) / Tel: (phone number removed)\\n\\nPlease note that only candidates who meet the shortlisted requirements will be contacted
