Luxury Retail Travel Manager in Cambridge

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Travel Branch Manager to join a leading luxury tailor-made Travel Company as they launch a brand-new retail operation in Cambridge. We're looking for a commercially driven Manager with a passion for luxury travel, strong sales experience and the ability to motivate and develop a successful team. JOB DESCRIPTION: Take responsibility for the overall performance of the store, driving sales, conversion and profitability. Lead, coach and motivate a team of Travel Experts and an Assistant Manager. Create a proactive sales culture, ensuring exceptional customer service and consistently achieving sales targets. Remain hands-on with sales, assisting clients with luxury tailor-made holiday enquiries and bookings. Develop local business through marketing initiatives, events, networking and partnerships. Build long-term customer relationships, encouraging repeat business and referrals. Oversee daily store operations, including staff rotas, performance reviews and team development. Ensure the highest standards of service are delivered throughout the customer journey.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous experience of managing a Retail Travel Branch Previous experience managing a team within travel sales or a premium, service-led sales environment. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving commercial performance. Strong leadership skills with experience coaching, motivating and developing a successful team. Confident balancing management responsibilities with hands-on selling. A passion for travel and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
