We're looking for a commercially minded travel professional who can confidently sell all elements of travel, from flights and hotels to cruise, transfers, excursions and tailor-made additions. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced travel sales consultant who enjoys working to targets, maximising every sales opportunity and delivering an exceptional level of customer service.

The Role as a Travel Sales Consultant

You'll be responsible for managing customer enquiries from initial conversation through to booking, using your travel expertise to create and sell the right holiday for each customer. You'll be confident working across different travel booking systems and have the product knowledge to sell a broad range of worldwide travel products.

  • Selling holidays and travel arrangements across a wide range of worldwide destinations
  • Handling enquiries and converting them into confirmed bookings
  • Selling flights, accommodation, cruise and other travel products
  • Maximising sales through add-ons, upgrades, transfers, excursions and additional services
  • Working across different booking systems and supplier platforms
  • Achieving and exceeding individual sales targets
  • Identifying opportunities to increase booking value and revenue
  • Providing consistently high standards of customer service
  • Building strong customer relationships and encouraging repeat and referral business
  • Keeping up to date with destinations, suppliers, travel trends and industry developments
  • Taking ownership of your own sales performance and contributing to the wider team

About You as a Travel Sales Consultant

You'll be an experienced travel sales professional with a genuine breadth of product knowledge and the confidence to sell across multiple areas of the travel industry.

  • Proven experience in travel sales
  • Good knowledge of worldwide destinations and land-based travel products
  • Knowledge of flights, hotels, transfers, excursions and other travel add-ons
  • Experience using different travel booking systems
  • A strong target and sales-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A natural ability to build rapport and understand customer requirements
  • The confidence to upsell and maximise every sales opportunity
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and commercially focused approach
  • Flexibility to work weekends as part of the working pattern with the team
