An exciting opportunity for an experienced cruise sales professional to join a customer-focused travel business in a fully remote role.

You will be responsible for understanding customers' travel requirements, creating exceptional cruise holidays and converting enquiries into bookings.

We are particularly interested in candidates with 2-3 years or more of cruise sales experience, ideally with a strong background in selling tailor-made cruise packages that may include cruises, flights, hotels, transfers, excursions and other travel arrangements.

Although the role is remote and candidates can be based anywhere in the UK, there may be occasional requirements to attend our office for meetings, training or team events.

There is no regular office attendance requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cruise enquiries from initial contact through to booking and completion.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and provide a highly personalised service.
  • Understand customers' needs, preferences and budgets to recommend the most suitable cruise holidays.
  • Sell a range of cruise products and tailor-made packages.
  • Create and sell complete holiday packages incorporating cruises, flights, hotels, transfers and other travel components.
  • Provide expert advice on cruise lines, ships, destinations, itineraries and accommodation options.
  • Convert enquiries and sales opportunities into confirmed bookings.
  • Maximise sales opportunities through effective questioning, upselling and cross-selling.
  • Maintain accurate customer and booking information.
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the sales journey.
  • Work towards and achieve individual sales and revenue targets.
  • Keep up to date with cruise products, destinations, promotions and industry developments.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues while operating effectively in a remote environment.

About You

We are looking for a confident and commercially driven travel sales professional who has a genuine passion for cruising.

Skills required

  • 2-3 years' experience in cruise sales or a similar specialist cruise sales environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong sales and conversion skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload remotely.
  • Confident using booking systems, CRM systems and standard computer applications.
  • Flexibility to work within our operating hours and alternate Saturdays.
  • Experience selling tailor-made or bespoke cruise holidays.
  • Experience packaging cruises with flights, hotels, transfers and other travel arrangements.
  • Knowledge of major cruise lines, cruise ships and destinations.
  • Existing cruise industry knowledge and contacts.
  • Experience working in a target-driven travel sales environment.

The Package

  • Fully remote working - work from anywhere in the UK.
  • Up to £28,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
  • 10% uncapped commission with excellent earning potential.
  • First-year OTE of approximately £40,000-£45,000, with higher earnings available for strong performers.
  • Comprehensive remote onboarding and training.
  • Occasional office-based training and meetings in office where required.

  • Working Pattern
  • Our operating hours are 08:00-20:00, with consultants working their normal contracted hours within this window.
