We are working with an established travel business seeking a commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop a network of travel sales teams across Scotland, with a focus on Glasgow and the surrounding region.

- Lead, motivate and inspire Travel Managers and sales teams to maximise sales performance, customer satisfaction and commercial results.
- Take ownership of regional performance, ensuring teams achieve agreed targets across sales, revenue, profitability and customer experience.
- Monitor regional KPIs, identify trends and implement actions to improve performance.
- Coach and develop Travel Managers, helping them build confident, knowledgeable and high-performing teams.
- Support managers with performance management, recruitment, employee relations and wider people challenges.
- Encourage teams to maximise every sales opportunity and develop repeat and referral business.
- Identify opportunities to grow regional sales through new markets, customer segments, products and commercial initiatives.
- Ensure teams maintain strong knowledge of holiday products, destinations, suppliers and the wider travel market.
- Take ownership of escalated customer situations, ensuring issues are resolved professionally and with customer satisfaction at the forefront.
- Conduct regular store and branch visits across the region, providing leadership, coaching, commercial support and performance feedback.
- Share best practice across locations and encourage continuous improvement in sales approach and customer journey.
- Ensure consistent standards across customer service, sales processes, compliance and operational performance.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external travel partners to support regional objectives.
- Keep up to date with travel trends, destinations, products and market opportunities to help teams maximise commercial potential.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a Sales Manager who can combine strong commercial focus with genuine people leadership.
You will ideally have
- Proven experience in a senior sales or leadership role within the travel industry.
- A strong track record of delivering sales growth and achieving commercial targets.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing Travel Managers, Store Managers or sales teams.
- A genuine passion for travel and strong knowledge of the holiday and leisure travel market.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and turn them into measurable sales results.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
- A strong customer focus and commitment to delivering memorable holiday experiences.
- Proven coaching ability and a passion for developing people and maximising team performance.
- Confidence handling customer escalations and challenging situations.
- Strong organisational skills, resilience and the ability to manage a varied regional workload.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven travel environment.
- Experience managing multiple locations, teams or territories would be advantageous.
