The Travel PR Association (TPRA) is a dynamic, industry-leading organisation dedicated to connecting travel PR professionals, brands, and media. We offer a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and business development, while fostering relationships and supporting growth in the travel PR sector.
We are seeking a highly motivated, organised, and creative individual to manage our association’s operations, communications, website, business development, and events. You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships, enhancing our online presence, and driving membership growth. This role is perfect for someone looking to make their mark in travel PR and offers scope for growth in their PR career.
Key Responsibilities:- Website Management: Maintain and update the association’s website to ensure content is relevant, accurate, and engaging. Collaborate with web developers and designers for periodic upgrades and improvements. Manage membership portal, ensuring all members have access to the resources they need. Optimise the website for SEO and user experience.
- Communications: Develop and manage internal and external communications for the association, including newsletters, announcements, and social media content. Handle member communications, responding to inquiries and ensuring timely responses. Collaborate with industry influencers, media outlets, and key stakeholders to promote the association.
- Business Development & Sales Outreach: Identify and pursue new membership opportunities and partnerships. Develop outreach strategies for potential corporate sponsors, media partners, and industry collaborators. Track and report on business development activities, measuring growth and engagement.
- Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute virtual and in-person events, including webinars, networking sessions, and annual conferences. Handle logistics such as speaker recruitment, event marketing, registration, and attendee communication. Collaborate with event partners and sponsors to enhance the experience and outcomes for all involved.
- Proven experience in website management, communications, and business development.
- Strong understanding of PR, marketing, and the travel industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in event planning and coordination.
- Proficient with CMS platforms (WordPress, etc.), social media management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity.

- Flexible, remote working environment with a part-time schedule (2-3 days per week).
