Ready to design once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences across the globe? We're looking for an experienced Travel Sales Consultant to join our Brighton team, specialising in complex, tailor-made and round-the-world trips.

What you'll be doing

We specialise in all aspects of round the world travel, so your role will be interesting and varied. You'll be putting together complex multi-stop and round the world itineraries for some clients and fully tailor-made holidays for others. You'll have autonomy over your day to day workload which will involve talking to customers on the phone, by email and occasionally face to face. You'll also work closely with the product team, suppliers and with the other consultants to help create fully tailored, completely bespoke trips of a lifetime. You'll manage the full process from initial quote through to booking and after sales support.

What we're looking for

We have a number of popular destinations around the world, including North and South America, Asia, Australasia and the South Pacific. We look for personal travel experience across several of these regions as this is essential for the role. Besides a passion for travel, we do also require that our sales consultants can demonstrate:

  • Solid long-haul sales experience, preferably in complex, multi-stop and tailor made trips
  • A proven track record of securing sales in a customer-focused environment
  • Competency of using the GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, Worldspan or Sabre)
  • Natural rapport-building skills
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written

What you'll receive

High basic salary (Starting £35,000 - £39,000, rising up to £50,000 subject to performance). Twice yearly sales bonus (uncapped earning potential). Year 1 - £37,000 - £46,000 projected OTE. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff). Weekday working. Flexible / Hybrid working - Once passed probation.
