This role is based in the UK and is a full work from home. Good internet access and suitable home office are required. The role is not a visa sponsorship one. Salary circa £27K.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for posting/reconciliation of bank accounts daily, bank and account reconciliations, payment processing.
  • Ensure the accurate processing of both member and affiliate money and complete finance reconciliations relevant to operational processes.
  • Performance of posting/reconciliation of bank accounts daily, and monthly bank and account reconciliations, payment processing and cover for other staff members.
  • Completion of month end bank reconciliations.
  • Investigation of any unidentified cash entries as they appear on bank statements.
  • Processing of journals for daily bank transactions.
  • Processing of manual cheque payments and bank transfer.
  • Responding appropriately to ad-hoc business requests.
VAT:
  • Responsible for preparation, submission & payment of European VAT returns for RCI Europe.
  • Liaison with internal Business Partners and external advisors necessary for submission of certain VAT returns.
  • Complete Oracle VAT control accounts balance sheet reconciliations within specified deadlines at month end and quarter end, based on risk rating (High, Medium & Low risk).
  • Arrange settlement of intercompany balances through netting and bank transfer on an ad hoc basis.
  • Complete assigned balance sheet reconciliations within specified deadlines at month end and quarter end, based on risk rating (High, Medium & Low risk).
Intercompany:
  • Manage the outbound and inbound intercompany invoices and resolve any queries.
  • Investigate and resolve any Intercompany differences.
  • Arrange settlement of intercompany balances through netting and bank transfer on an ad hoc basis.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
  • Highly self-motivated.
Desirable qualifications and experience:
  • Part qualified AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
  • US GAAP knowledge.
  • Multi-currency accounting.
  • Experience of working with a US parent Company or US based organisation.
  • SOX compliance experience.
