KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

What does this position aim to do?

  • Process daily bank reconciliations and other accounting transactions with general ledger entries as directed.
  • Daily Merlin data extraction and upload process – for levies and resort PMS files for rentals, resort revenues, etc.
  • Prepare and post entries for related party receivables/payables (with Developer Group entities, Hospitality – RMBTL, CWSP Club, CWA Asia Club).
  • Maintain the general accruals schedule for all Club locations; updating as and when the monthly invoices are received from suppliers and follow-up on the pending.
  • Prepare monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations for review, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of outstanding items.
  • Process additions and disposals into the Fixed Assets Register and General Ledger and update the monthly Fixed Assets Clearing Reconciliations.
  • Support the month-end close process by preparing schedules and documentation for review.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure supporting documentation is filed appropriately.
  • Assist in preparing tax‑related documentation and compliance reports (e. g., GST, BAS) under supervision.
  • Provide data and administrative support for audits and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Assist in ad hoc Finance team related tasks as the business needs arise.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve queries promptly and professionally.
  • Contribute to maintaining a strong internal control environment and identify areas for improvement.

  • MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

What should the position holder be and have?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience preferred; exposure to accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (experience with Sun System is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines.
