The role:
As part of the growth in our Calrom Groups team, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager with the skills and passion for managing the software delivery process to our airline customers for our market‑leading Groups Booking system. You will work closely with our Head of Projects, Head of Product, and the rest of the Calrom Groups team to ensure our systems are successfully delivered to our airline partners.
Tasks & responsibilities include:
- Managing the delivery of complex software solutions
- Collaborating with the wider management team, project managers, business analysts, subject matter experts, system and solution architects, and other functional work‑stream leads to create robust project plans
- Communicating and collaborating with external and internal stakeholders to review progress, revise scope, schedule, or budget, resolve issues, and mitigate risks
- Managing and monitoring the project implementation activities using relevant processes and tools
- Identifying, tracking, and controlling changes throughout the project
- Tracking and reporting on progress to both internal and external stakeholders as per agreed project plans
- Collaborating and providing input to the commercial team on RFPs and RFIs when needed
- Ability and flexibility to travel, on occasion, to customer sites
- Ability and flexibility to work outside of the operating hours (i.e., earlier start in the morning/late finish in the evening)
We think you’ll be a great fit if you have:
- Knowledge and expertise in business and IT project management
- A technical background, to enable you to understand the demanding technical & business environment within which our systems operate
- Proven experience in project management, successfully delivering end‑to‑end project lifecycles using a recognised project management methodology
- Experience of industry‑standard Agile project management processes
- Experience of project management tools such as Microsoft Project
- The ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment
- Strong customer relationship management
