We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Ski Travel Consultant to join a luxury travel company in Berkshire, within their Ski department
As a Ski Travel Consultant you will work as this travel company Ski Specialist, using your specialist knowledge of skiing, ski resorts and ski holidays to provide exceptional customer service and create memorable winter travel experiences.
As a Ski Travel Consultant you will speak with customers to understand their skiing experience, holiday preferences, budget and requirements.
You will then use your knowledge as a Ski Specialist to recommend the most suitable ski resorts, accommodation, flights, transfers, lift passes and ski experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a Ski Specialist, providing expert advice on ski holidays and ski destinations.
- Sell ski holidays while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Use your knowledge as a Ski Travel Specialist to recommend suitable ski resorts for families, couples, groups and experienced skiers.
- Arrange ski accommodation, flights, transfers, lift passes and other ski holiday requirements.
- Handle telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries professionally.
- Provide accurate quotations and convert enquiries into bookings.
- Keep up to date with ski resorts, ski conditions, new properties, ski products and destination developments.
- Achieve sales targets and maximise opportunities to sell ski holidays and additional services.
- Use your experience as a ski travel consultant to provide personalised recommendations based on each customer's needs.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working as a Ski Travel Consultant Specialist, ski travel consultant or within the ski travel industry.
- Excellent knowledge of ski resorts and ski destinations.
- Genuine passion for skiing and winter sports.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust as a Ski Travel consultant
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Commercially aware with a proven ability to work towards sales targets.
- Enthusiastic, confident and professional approach.
- Good written and spoken English
