Travel & Hospitality Talent Hub are working with an established Travel Company in Glasgow who are looking for an experienced and ambitious Travel Sales Team Leader to join their team. As a Travel Team Leader, you'll play a key role in motivating and developing a team of Travel Sales Consultants, driving sales performance and ensuring customers receive an exceptional travel experience. The Role

As Travel Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and coaching a high-performing Travel Sales Team in Glasgow. You'll lead by example, support your Travel Sales Consultants and create a positive, energetic and results-driven environment where the team can succeed. This is a hands-on Team Leader role for someone who enjoys working within Travel, developing people and achieving ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of Travel Sales Consultants.
  • Act as an inspirational Travel Team Leader, leading by example.
  • Drive individual and team Travel Sales performance against agreed targets.
  • Coach and develop your Travel Sales Team through regular one-to-ones, feedback and performance reviews.
  • Monitor sales KPIs and identify opportunities to improve Travel Sales performance.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the Travel customer journey.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new Travel Sales Consultants.
  • Handle escalated customer enquiries professionally and effectively.
  • Work closely with senior management to deliver Travel Sales initiatives and business objectives.
  • Create a positive, collaborative and customer-focused Travel Team culture.
  • Motivate your team to achieve and exceed Travel Sales targets.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Team Leader, Sales Team Leader, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Supervisor.
  • Travel Industry experience is essential.
  • Previous experience leading a Travel Sales Team or sales team.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding Travel Sales targets.
  • Strong coaching, leadership and people-development skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A positive, enthusiastic and results-driven approach.
  • Passion for Travel, sales and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Travel Sales environment.
  • Strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills.
