Warehouse Operative, Harrogate, £12.64 PH, free parking, 9am-4pm Monday – Friday Permanent opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative with excellent knowledge of goods in / out and confident stock control skills. Working for a great company in a rural location you will manage the stores area to ensure customer orders are fulfilled. The role: * Pick orders using a hand-held scanner * Print despatch notes & prepare parcels for despatch * Work out the appropriate shipping method and action it * Manage couriers * Print shipping labels and log the tracking information on our ERP system. * Email delivery notes & invoices to customers * Make any stock adjustments that come to light during order picking * Receive deliveries of new stock * Check for external damage while the driver is still there, and make sure any damage is documented * Unpack the goods & check them against the despatch note, note & action any discrepancies * Book the goods in to the ERP system * Put away pre-labelled stock in the correct stock location The ideal person will have worked in a goods in / out, warehousing environment previously, be happy picking and packing of small items have good dexterity and excellent attention to detail. Be computer literate and ideally have worked with stock control systems in the past. Due to my clients location your own transport is essential.
