A hybrid role to support sales, technical support and service departments both in the field and on site in Harrogate. You will be required to support customers on-site with equipment delivery, demonstration, training, problem solving, repairs as well as undertaking workshop-based service and repair of electro-mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Learn the company product range and become an expert in knowledge and application
- Provide on-site customer support, problem solving, repairs and lateral thinking
- Provide customer demonstrations for hire and loan equipment
- Provide support at exhibitions and conferences
- Production and repair support
- Assist with the completion of documentation for field trials with customers - Risk Assessment, Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work, G23
- Work within and take ownership of the ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001 and ISO45001 processes
Courses to complete:
- SHEA Gas safety Passport
- SHEA Water safety Passport
- National Water Hygiene 'Blue Card'
Requirements:
- Be a team player, willing to go the extra mile to maintain excellent customer satisfaction
- Happy to work away 1 to 2 nights per week
- Operate as a standalone support engineer
- Ideally hold an Engineering or Electronic qualification
- Have excellent communication skills and be happy to speak to new customers, suppliers and people whilst always looking for new business opportunities
- Have a full clean UK driving licence
- Have an inquisitive mind, with an interest in mechanical and electronic items, and happy to problem solve
- Anyone with previous experience in water or gas industry would be of great interest
