An opportunity to join a friendly manufacturing team in Yate as a mechanical fitter, pump fitter, equipment assembler. This is in a workshop environment building equipment for a range of customers, reporting to the workshop supervisor. You will receive full training on the company's range of equipment.

The mechanical fitter, pump fitter, equipment assembler role involves:

  • Assembling high-volume water pump systems and associated components
  • Following technical drawings and build specifications
  • Completing work in a timely manner to meet the equipment build timeline
  • Extensive use of conventional hand and power tools
  • Electrical wiring and connection of pre-built wiring looms and connectors
  • Knowledge of 12v/15v equipment for wiring DC motors
  • Functional testing and fault finding to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Completing necessary QC paperwork following successful test procedures
  • Identifying and reporting any non-conformities or potential improvements in the assembly process

The mechanical fitter, pump fitter, equipment assembler position would suit a candidate with the following skills:
