Design Engineer required for Cheltenham based company paying c£39,000 + 25 days holiday + the bank holidays, pension and DiS. Working hours Monday to Friday, with an early finish on a Friday.

They see a project through from concept to finished product and are leading the way in making their product range more AI/Robotic operated. They supply to leading manufacturers both in the UK and globally and have a broad range of clients supplying to major players within the automotive, aerospace, and gas sectors as well as small independent companies.

As Design Engineer for this company, your duties will include the following:
- Design of tools, fixtures and machine parts using Solid Works 3D CAD system
- Creating costing models for the sales team
- Liaising with customers, distributors or agents on design/technical queries
- Liaising with machine build - tooling development
- Bringing in new methods and processes and training
- Involvement in R&D projects to further enhance our client's standing in the market place
