An exciting opportunity to work for an exceptional employer in the Wetherby area. Stockeld Park is recruiting a skilled and innovative Electrical Technician to join their team. You will work on interesting and unusual projects, with a focus on troubleshooting and developing creative engineering solutions. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and technical systems across the park, supporting both day-to-day operations and ongoing development projects.
The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled across electrical and mechanical with ideally some knowledge of electronics and automation.
Responsibilities- Installation, maintenance, testing, and fault-finding on commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Supporting electrical installations for attractions, buildings, lighting, and infrastructure
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
- Assisting with planned maintenance schedules and reactive repairs
- Work safely in accordance with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
- Collaborate with other maintenance and operations staff to support park activities and events
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Fully qualified Commercial Electrician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Proven experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical installations
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of current electrical regulations and best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexible and practical approach to work in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge or experience in electromechanical systems
- Understanding of electronics and control systems
- Experience working with automated equipment, machinery, or attraction
- AM2 Qualification

Stockeld Park is a unique visitor attraction offering seasonal events, immersive experiences, and extensive park facilities that offer a supportive team culture and opportunity to develop additional technical skills.
Contract and EnvironmentThis is a full-time, permanent role in a unique and varied working environment giving the opportunity to work on diverse systems and projects.
Hours8 hour day with some flexibility on start and finish times between 7.30am - 5.30pm. Weekend working is required on a rota basis (average 2 weekend days per month). Additional hours may be required during peak periods, with late nights (up to 9.30pm) during the Christmas period.
