HR Officer required for a FTC of up to 12 months paying up to £40k pa DOE. 37.5 hours working week, Monday to Friday Our client is looking for an HR Officer to work under the HR Manager for a period of between 6 – 12 months. This role will require you to be based in the office 5 days a week in order that you can react to situations and answer queries as they arise. This is a all round role which will involve the full scope of an HR persons duties such as: interpreting and advising on day-to-day employment law concerns supporting department managers with regards to salaries, redundancies, etc supporting department managers to ensure that company employment policies adhere to UK laws & regulations assisting with the recruitment and on boarding of new employees ensuring communication is handled sensitively with regards to salary, pension & benefits helping to develop programmes that enhance employee relations dealing with grievances & implementing disciplinary procedures organise, attend and take minutes of meetings The successful HR Officer will need to have the following skills/experience for their application to be successful: Qualified to Level 3 – CIPD Previous working experience within generalist HR role Comprehensive understanding of employment law If successful you will be working for a family run company that genuinely values the staff that works for them and endeavours to ensure they give them the best working environment so they can excel.
