Head Chef, £34-38k, LS22, 5 days over 7, 28 days holiday, Permanent role This established village pub in the Wetherby area is looking for a new Head Chef as their current Head Chef is stepping up to a GM role. This Yorkshire chain can offer you the opportunity to make your mark in this kitchen: Freedom in menu writing including seasonal specials Stock management and ordering Supervision of chefs and kitchen porters Preparing food, cooking to order and running service Responsible for completion of kitchen paperwork and adherence to legislation Generally working Wednesday to Sunday, 45 hours per week however part time hours could also be consideredWe would expect the successful Head Chef to have kitchen management experience and a creative flair. A good understanding of maintaining GP would be beneficial and an ambitious attitude. This would be an ideal role if you are a Head Chef ready for a change or if you are a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef ready to take on your first Head Chef role in West Yorkshire You will be working for a Yorkshire based chain with a management team that have progressed through the industry. You will enjoy mentorship and further opportunities such as supporting other sites.
