This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CNC Setter Operators with experience of Mazak / Mazatrol or Fanuc to work for a well-established engineering company based in Grantham. Due to the ongoing success and growth of the company, they are seeking an experienced CNC Setter Operator to work in a long-term stable role with a great work–life balance, and an early finish on Fridays.
Job role for CNC Setter Operator:
- Setting and operating CNC machines, with a strong preference for experience on Mazak machines using Mazatrol controls.
- Producing precision components to tight tolerances.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Carrying out tool changes, offsets, and basic program edits.
- Ensuring quality standards are met through self-inspection.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience with Mazak / Mazatrol / Fanuc controls (essential or highly desirable).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a machine shop.
