About the company

Our client, a well-established family business, is seeking a general manager to join their extremely successful business. They are a dynamic forward thinking fresh produce packaging company

The Role

As General manager, you will be at the heart of the operation, responsible for the overseeing day-to-day management of the site, leading the production and technical teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your leadership will ensure efficient production processes, technical integrity and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all operational and technical aspects of the packaging facility
• Develop and implement production strategies to meet quality, safety and delivery targets
• Ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP and other relevant food safety and quality standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and packaging lines
• Manage budgets, resources and KPI\’s
• Collaborate with commercial and supply chain teams to meet customer expectations

If you have a proven experience in a managerial role in the food industry, ideally fresh produce or FMCG , have strong technical knowledge of food safety , we would like to hear from you
