FLT Driver £14.10 p/h, Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm while training and changing to 4 on 4 off day and night rotation after training 6am – 6pm days and 6pm – 6am nights. Working within a major distribution depot as a forklift truck driver, you will be a key member of the warehouse and logistics team. The role offers variety and a real team environment. Working as a team you will: Picking customer orders from a specific order profile using a forklift Using hand-held scanners to pick small orders Building picked orders onto pallets safely and in line with company procedures Shrink wrapping orders and sending to the designated marshalling area. Using reach, counterbalance or VNA trucks to load lorriesYou will also be involved in pallet checking as and when directed by the site management team. This would be an ideal role for someone with forklift truck experience. You should be comfortable with working at heights of up at 12 meters using the VNA truck. If you have been a warehouse operative within a distribution setting or have used reach, counterbalance, telescopic or man up trucks this would be a great opportunity for you. Ideally you will be able to work unsupervised and have a flexible approach to your work.
