Field Service Technician – Salary between £32,000 to £36,000 per annum plus overtime – Benefits include Bonus, Pension, Company Vehicle, Phone – 40 hrs per week (must be flexible) Mon to Fri – Based in Cardiff covering a 50 mile radius

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join a specialist, niche company that will invest in your training and future development to ensure that you and the company stay at the forefront of their industry.

This role is based from home and will cover the service and repair of white and brown goods (Electrial Ovens, microwaves and catering equipment) – your area will cover a 50 mile radius of Cardiff. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to manage and organise their own workload. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Duties will involve:

  • Carrying out installations of new equipment into clients premises
  • Service, repair and general maintenance call outs
  • Carrying out fault finding work
  • Completing all relevant paperwork
  • Planning daily workload

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with white or brown goods and possess strong organisational and customer service skills. You will have strong electrical and electronic knowledge and experience. In addition you will have good IT skills and be tech savvy – all work is sent to you via a smart phone / tablet, which you will also use to complete relevant paperwork and service checks, as well as using for parts inventory checks. The day to day work will be varied and you will be visiting customers who work within the hospitality industry.

Once trained, our client will provide you with a company vehicle and ensure you are provided with the right tools to carry out their working day as well as the necessary PPE and Work wear.

Salary £32,000 to £36,000 per annum plus overtime and bonus
Monday to Friday working week with a 1-3 weekend Rota (Once trained)
Work from home, paid door to door.
28 Day Holiday Entitlement including Bank Holidays
Overtime available paid at an enhanced rate

Based in Cardiff
