If you are experienced in coordinating activities for the international export of products from the UK, the export planner position may be the next step on your career path.

Permanent position with our well-established client, the export planner duties include:

  • Completion of export documentation, re-scheduling, invoicing and shipping documents.
  • Scheduling customer collections and deliveries of finished products.
  • Arranging and scheduling transport.
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Managing sales enquiries, coordinating sales and arranging sales contracts.
  • Providing administrative support to the Commercial Team.
  • Managing the customer account databases; including data entry, analysis and customer KPI reporting.
  • Call handling customer enquiries, sales support and managing the filing systems.

To apply for the export planner position, you will need:

  • Previous experience in an admin or office-based role is essential.
  • First contact will be made for applicants with prior export experience.
  • Have 5 GCSE’s at grade 5 or above (including Maths and English) or equivalent.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and decision-making skills, including the ability to analyse information from multiple sources.

Salary: Competitive Salary plus Company Benefits

Benefits for the export planner include a salary of up to £35k p/a and:

  • Hours: 40 hrs per week 8.30am-5pm Mon–Fri
  • Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays
  • Pension: The Company will make contributions of 7% of earnings into the scheme. In addition, for every 1% the employee contributes the Company will contribute a further 0.5% up to a maximum Company contribution of 10%
  • Extras: Employee assistance program, free parking, good access via bus and train
