Development Assistant £32,000pa, NN17 1QE, 33 days holiday, Mon to Fri 8.30am till 5pm, Hybrid when business need allow (3days on site 2 days WFH), Permanent, BUPA Health Care, Private Pension, Discount Scheme, Immediate start Due to continued success and rapid expansion plans, a global multi-site FMCG manufacturer has a brand role for a Development Assistant to join their commercial team. You will be support the Product Development Manager: Assisting the NPD & Commercial team with sourcing new materials, ensuring credentials match customers needs Managing day to day administration for the department ensuring all records are up to date and audit traceable Requesting product samples from production, and arranging distribution Working as a key critical coordinator in product launches, confirming and communication time-scaling/deadlines, assisting with the preparation of presentation documentation Travelling to customer, supplier and retailers sites, and conducting relevant research, and feeding this information back to the business We would expect the successful Development Assistant to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft office including PowerPoint, have a passion for research and development along with the ability to communicate and present effectively. Bilingual in French would be advantageous (but not essential). Regular international and national travel is required so a valid passport and driving license is essential, along with a flexible approach to working hours. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked with Product Development, NPD or Product Analyst position. We are keen to hear from Graduates with a suitable discipline for the role.
