Skilled Bench Joiner opportunity available for a growing business in the Knaresborough area, working on standard and bespoke furniture in their busy workshop. The company supplies kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom furniture to a range of industries and end users.
The role:
- Assist in the production of standard and bespoke handmade furniture
- Working from drawings to produce high quality components
- Operate edge banders, routers, band saws and beam saws
- Assemble and fit furniture, doors and drawers
- Cut, shape, drill and plane wood using hand power tools
- Fit brackets, hinges and handles
- Finish all items to a high-end finish
The Person:
- Ideally holding formal qualifications in Joinery
- Have confident bench joinery workshop experience
- A team player with a hard-working attitude
- Be familiar working in a targeted production environment
- Passionate about joinery
- Knowledge of working with a range of hand tools, saws and woodworking machinery
