Sign Maker Required
A Northampton Based Company is looking for a Sign Maker to join their team. This established family business has over 40 years of experience within the sign making industry.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: Β£15.50 - Β£16.50 per hour DOE
About the Role:
As a sign maker, you will be involved in the manufacturing and assembling stages of the process. You will be working within a team where the main aspects of the role are the following:
- Preparation work
- Notching (Metal sheet cutting)
- Folding
- Wrapping
- Guillotining
- Welding and Fabrication work
Skills and Experience:
You will require to come from a signage background and will need the below skills:
- Brake Press Machine
- CNC Router Machines
- Various hand and power tools
- Welding and Fabrication
- Grinders
- Sanding Machines
- Have a good eye for detail
- Be able to read from technical drawings or specifications
- Be willing to learn and show flexibility
- Be a team player with good time keeping
If you have a full UK driving licence, this will be beneficial as you may be required to make deliveries to local customers.
