The predicted salary is between 28200 - 34150 £ per year.

Up to £34,150 DOE, Rotherham, Permanent position, days only, early Friday finish, retention bonus, fantastic development opportunities, 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days, private health care, 9% contributory pension, free car parking, on site canteen facilities, uniform and premium paid overtime.

Due to an increase in orders we are proud to be seeking a semi-skilled or experienced Pattern Maker to join our rapidly expanding Rotherham based manufacturer on a full-time permanent basis. As a Pattern Maker you will be reporting into the Supervisor and will be responsible for working as part of a small close-knit team in a prestige environment.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Assembling and preparing patterns for the ceramic mould department.
  • Operating 3D sand printing machine.
  • Cleaning and preparing products for casting 3D sand printed moulds.
  • Ensuring all patterns have been measured by the CMM department prior to assembly.
  • Transferring tool paths to CNC machines in the Pattern shop and manufacturing parts.
  • Raising NCR's when required.
  • Ensure equipment is calibrated prior to use.

As a Pattern Maker you will be required to:

  • Use cutting and measuring equipment.
  • Have a positive and eager attitude towards learning new things.
  • Ensure housekeeping is maintained to a high standard.
  • Read from engineering drawings to interpret customer requirements.

This role would suit someone with experience working as a Pattern Maker or Pattern Engineer within a manufacturing, production, castings or engineering environment. As full training can be provided, our client is also keen to hear from Graduates, Joiners, Carpenters and CNC Operators / Machinists who are looking to take their career in a different direction.

Our client is offering a fantastic package including:

  • Pay dependant on previous experience. Semi-skilled salary £28,200, skilled salary £34,150.
  • 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days over 5 years.
  • Monday - Thursday 8am-4:30pm & Friday 8am - 3:30pm.
